WHO WE ARE

Central Net Training Center

Central Net Training Center was built in 1972 through a partnership between several agencies to create a shared fire training and communications facility.

Today, the training center is funded and run by the cities of Fountain Valley and Huntington Beach through a joint powers agreement. This agreement formed the Central Net Operations Authority, joint powers authority (JPA), which oversees the center.

Our mission is to provide high‑quality training that helps agencies perform at their best. We focus on continuous improvement and excellence in all training programs.

The training center offers space for fire and emergency medical training, promotional testing, academies, and graduation events.

The training center includes:

• A five‑story burn tower
• Forcible entry props
• Ventilation props
• Auto extrication areas
• A two‑story residential/multi‑family conex box
• A drafting pit
• Multiple classrooms
• A conference room
